The Mercury Racing 525 HP EFI Gen 6 3.8L Whipple Supercharger System - Port Injection Version is designed for compatible 525 HP EFI marine engine applications that need a complete high-output supercharger package with upgraded fuel delivery, ECM recalibration, and intercooled boost. This system combines Whipple twin-screw supercharger technology with a port-injection based manifold and supporting marine fuel system components.

Now featuring the Gen 6 3.8L supercharger, this system is engineered for strong airflow capacity, instant boost response, cooler discharge temperatures, and broad torque delivery across the RPM range. The Whipple twin-screw supercharger can generate boost quickly without the lag associated with centrifugal-style superchargers, giving the boat stronger acceleration, improved planing performance, better cruising power, and increased top-end potential when the complete setup supports it.

The port-injection system uses a new port-injection based manifold, billet -8AN anodized fuel rails, high-flow fuel injectors, Aeromotive marine fuel pump, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, billet fuel/water separator, and fuel cooler. This makes the system a more complete fuel-supported package for customers looking to build beyond the throttle body injection version.

Whipple includes ECM recalibration to support complete engine management, including fuel, spark, and detonation protection. The system is designed to work with the compatible factory ECM while retaining strong idle, starting, and driveability when properly installed and calibrated.

Stage 1 is the base supercharger system and features the original 8" wide x 3.0" thick coated aluminum intercooler core with 6-7 psi of boost. Stage 2 builds on Stage 1 with a 5" thick cupronickel intercooler core featuring dual inlet/outlet water flow, plus a .125" smaller supercharger pulley for approximately 1 psi more boost.

Major kit components are pre-assembled to support a cleaner installation, and the system is available in Hi-Performance Blue finish, polished finish, custom color, and other finish options. Finish and stage selections should be chosen based on the customer's engine package, build goals, available clearance, and complete installation requirements.
