Few performance SUVs respond to added airflow and boost like the Dodge Durango Hellcat. With its supercharged 6.2L HEMI, all-wheel-drive traction, and heavy-hitting character, the factory combination is already serious. The Whipple Gen 6 3.0L Stage 2 Supercharger Kit takes that foundation further with a larger inlet path, stronger charge-air control, and the kind of hard acceleration that changes the way the Durango pulls through the entire RPM range.
Whipple Superchargers has led the twin-screw supercharger market since 1987, bringing that experience into a Stage 2 system built specifically for the 2021-2025 Dodge Durango Hellcat. The result is a 50-state legal Whipple setup that adds performance without giving up the street manners expected from a late-model Durango.
POWER: With 93 octane fuel, the Whipple Gen 6 Stage 2 system is rated for up to 710 HP and 650 LB-FT of torque, producing harder mid-range pull, immediate throttle response, and a broad torque curve that keeps the Durango Hellcat charging through the full powerband.
At the core of the system is Whipple's Gen 6 3.0L twin-screw supercharger. The Stage 2 configuration adds a billet 112mm throttle body and matching 112mm inlet to help remove restriction ahead of the blower and support the airflow needed for high-horsepower street use. Paired with the included high-flow cold air intake system, the Stage 2 setup gives the 6.2L Hellcat combination a more aggressive inlet path than the factory arrangement.
Charge-air control is a major part of what separates the Whipple system. The patented dual-pass, dual-core intercooler layout helps keep air temperatures in check when the vehicle is worked hard, while the inverted supercharger design makes room for a larger intercooler package. That combination helps the Durango Hellcat stay more consistent under load instead of falling off as heat builds.
This Stage 2 kit installs as a full bolt-on upgrade with no internal engine modifications required. It is intended for stock, well-maintained engines running premium fuel, and the included gateway unlock tool support and calibration process help complete the package for proper installation and operation. Long tube headers, cat removal, and other unsupported modifications are outside the scope of the supplied calibration.
