WHIPPLE SUPER HIGH DENSITY INTERCOOLER
The Whipple Super High Density Intercooler is designed for Predator V8 applications that need more intercooler capacity from the stock-style supercharger system. For 2020-2022 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, 2023-2026 Ford Raptor R, and 2025-2026 Ford Mustang GTD applications, this upgraded core is built to improve water flow, increase cooling efficiency, and help keep manifold air temperatures under better control as airflow demand increases.
The core is 10% wider than stock, increasing surface area for improved heat rejection and better cooling efficiency. It also features 33% larger billet inlet and outlet water passages for increased flow capacity over the factory-style layout, helping move more coolant through the intercooler under demanding conditions.
At the center of the design is Whipple's super high density fin technology. The SHD fin design increases cooling efficiency compared with standard density intercooler cores while maintaining a direct-fit upgrade layout. Billet flange and tank construction add strength and durability to the assembly, making it a stronger cooling solution for high-performance Predator V8 applications.
This intercooler is designed to work with the stock supercharger system while also allowing additional improvement with Whipple's optional intercooler manifold and dual pump system.
