WHIPPLE SUPER HIGH DENSITY INTERCOOLER UPGRADE - WHIPPLE BLOCK
The Whipple Super High Density Intercooler Upgrade - Whipple Block is designed for Predator V8 applications that need more intercooler capacity from the stock-style supercharger system while using the 1-inch to 1-inch Whipple block configuration. For 2020-2022 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, 2023-2026 Ford Raptor R, and 2025-2026 Ford Mustang GTD applications, this upgraded core is built to improve water flow, increase cooling efficiency, and help keep manifold air temperatures under better control as airflow demand increases.
The core is increased in width to 163mm versus the stock 148mm core, providing a 10% increase in surface area for improved heat rejection and cooling efficiency. It also features 33% larger inlet and outlet fittings for increased flow capacity over the factory-style layout, helping move more coolant through the intercooler under demanding conditions.
At the center of the design is Whipple's super high density fin technology. The SHD fin design increases cooling capacity compared with standard density intercooler cores while maintaining a direct-fit upgrade layout. Billet inlet and outlet tank construction, along with a billet flange, add strength and durability to the assembly.
This intercooler upgrade is designed to fit with the stock supercharger system while also allowing additional flow improvement with Whipple's optional intercooler manifold. That makes it a strong supporting upgrade for customers looking to improve cooling performance now while keeping room for future system growth.
