WHIPPLE SUPER HIGH DENSITY INTERCOOLER UPGRADE - STOCK BLOCK
The Whipple Super High Density Intercooler Upgrade - Stock Block is designed for Predator V8 applications that need more intercooler capacity from the stock-style supercharger system while using the stock block fitting configuration. For 2020-2022 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, 2023-2026 Ford Raptor R, and 2025-2026 Ford Mustang GTD applications, this upgraded core is built to improve water flow, increase cooling efficiency, and help keep manifold air temperatures under better control as airflow demand increases.
The core features 33% larger inlet and outlet fittings for increased flow capacity over the factory-style layout. It is also increased in width to provide 10% more surface area, helping improve overall heat rejection and cooling performance in demanding street and performance use.
At the center of the design is Whipple's super high density fin technology. The SHD fin design increases cooling capacity compared with standard density intercooler cores while maintaining a direct-fit upgrade layout. Billet inlet and outlet tank construction, along with a billet flange, add strength and durability to the assembly.
This intercooler upgrade is designed to work with the stock supercharger system while also offering additional flow improvement with Whipple's optional billet intercooler manifold. That makes it a strong supporting upgrade for customers looking to improve cooling performance now while keeping room for future system growth.
