MERCURY RACING 600/662/700 SCI 12AN IC FITTINGS

The Whipple -12AN high flow intercooler fittings for the stock Mercury Racing™ 600/662/700SCI significantly help improve water flow through the stock intercooler core. The increased flow drastically reduces manifold air temps, thus resulting in lower supercharger discharge temps. The cooler discharged air helps improve reliability and durability, make more power and stay away from the tpyical power cuts when the temperature exceeds the safety thresholds.

A factory 600SCI uses a .25" inlet fitting which restricts the water flow to the intercooler. The Whipple high flow fitting has a unique taper shape that goes from .50" to .75" to double the water flow capacity. The stock fittings also use a casted 90deg design with no radius, making it a very low flowing fitting. The Whipple system uses stainless steel swivel 90deg radiused fittings to help increase water flow. The factory intercooler supply uses 5/8" ID hose, the Whipple -12AN uses 3/4" ID hose to increase flow and lower pressure loss.

*The -12AN system requires new plubming of the intercooler supply and outlet. This includes a new water source, due to the increased flow, you cannot tee the factory water system like stock or -10AN.
