The Whipple High-Flow Inlet Filter Upgrade for Mercury Racing 600 SCI, 662 SCI, and 700 SCI applications is a support component designed to improve inlet airflow on compatible Mercury Racing supercharged marine engine packages. This upgrade replaces the stock restrictive gauze-style filter with a high-flow stainless steel mesh element for improved airflow potential.

This inlet filter upgrade is used as part of Whipple Stage 3 upgrade packages and may also be used as a supporting airflow component on compatible Stage 2 or other properly configured applications. The high-flow element has shown an additional 10-15 HP over the stock filter in supported applications under Whipple test conditions, with greater gains possible in certain restricted-filter combinations when paired with the correct supporting setup.

The filter assembly uses a stainless steel mesh element with a polished aluminum finish and billet 2-piece clamp for secure mounting. The tapered design helps support fitment in the factory inlet area without requiring modifications.
