WHIPPLE STAGE 2 PERFORMANCE KIT

The Whipple Stage 2 Performance Kit for Mercury Racing 1025 SCI and 1075 SCI applications builds on the Stage 1 package by adding a more aggressive camshaft and valve spring setup matched to the supercharger system. This kit combines a high-performance PCM calibration with a special grind camshaft and Isky tool room valve springs to increase power across the RPM range.

The Stage 2 package is listed to increase output by over 100 HP and 100 lb-ft of torque under Whipple test conditions. The factory RPM limit is raised from 6200 RPM to 6800 RPM, giving customers a wider propping range and additional top-speed potential when the boat, prop, conditions, and complete setup support it.

Whipple calibration changes are designed to improve low-speed torque, acceleration, throttle response, and high-RPM power delivery while maintaining stock-style idle, starting, and driveability. The Stage 2 calibration is designed for 91 octane fuel using the (R+M)/2 rating method.

Calibration Service Process

The PCM must be removed and sent to Whipple Superchargers for calibration service. Include a copy of the receipt and any relevant engine, boat, fuel, prop, PCM, camshaft, valve spring, and setup details with the PCM. Typical turnaround time is 7-10 days.

New PCM units may be available upon request. Verify PCM compatibility, engine model, fuel octane, current calibration, camshaft requirements, valve spring requirements, and complete installation requirements before ordering.
