The Whipple Gen 6 3.0L Stage 1 Supercharger Kit is built for Dodge Hellcat owners who want a serious Whipple airflow and cooling upgrade while keeping the Stage 1 stock throttle body configuration. This package delivers the larger Gen 6 3.0L twin-screw head unit, Whipple cold air system, major intercooler improvements, and the supporting calibration workflow needed for a complete 50-state legal bolt-on upgrade.

On the performance side, Whipple rates the package with over 300HP capacity over the Hellaphant 3.0L supercharger and over 500HP capacity over the Hellcat 2.4L supercharger. The goal of the Gen 6 system is not just bigger peak potential, but stronger airflow, stronger recovery, and a more capable supercharger package without relying on expensive porting just to make power.

At the center of the system is the Whipple Gen 6 3.0L twin-screw supercharger with a 112mm opening. Stage 1 is designed around the stock throttle body using the supplied adapter, while still supporting the airflow path expected from a serious Whipple upgrade. The included cold air system further improves inlet efficiency and helps the larger Gen 6 package take advantage of the additional airflow capacity.

Cooling is a major part of what separates the Whipple package from smaller factory-style combinations. The patented dual-pass, dual-core intercooler design delivers massive cooling capacity, with each core measuring 2 inches thick for an effective 4-inch dual-pass layout. The inverted design allows the oversized intercooler package to fit, while the dual in, dual out intercooler layout increases water flow for stronger recovery and more consistent performance under load.

The system is also backed by the required tuning and vehicle support hardware. HP Tuners RTD is used for reading, writing, and datalogging. For 2015 and newer applications, PCM unlock support is required before flashing. For 2018 and newer vehicles, Smart Access Cable security bypass support is also required. Together, that gives Hellcat owners a complete Whipple-supported calibration path rather than just a hardware swap.
