Description
Whipple Superchargers, your performance leader offers custom calibrations for all Mercury Racing engines from model year 2002. *Custom calibrations must be tested by the user with proper equipment such as a scan tool or scan software (www.rinda.com) and wide band air fuel meters to measure air fuel.

Technical Notes:
Wide band must be installed in a collector/common area for the average of a bank. For stainless style exhaust such as CMI, the best location is the tailpipe within 2"-3" of the header flange. Stepped 18mm O2 sensor bungs can be purchased from CMI.
Cast type exhaust require either a spacer between the manifold and the riser, or a 18mm O2 bung can be welded into stainless steel tubular risers (Imco, Eddie Marine, etc).
Whipple does not tune for engine dyno's when using DRY dyno type headers. This leads to very different results, therefore the tuning would be custom for the dyno and then reverted back for the boat. If dyno'ing an engine, it must use marine, wet type headers that it will run in the boat for proper accuracy. Engines should be tested using scan tool or scan software, along with wide band O2 sensor in a minimum of 1 collector.
Never run a wide band in just one cylinder, this will never work properly for tuning. This will only work for trouble shooting or running 8 indivdual cylinders.
**Custom cal fee covers 1 year of free changes to the calibration.
*NOTE: PCM'S MUST BE SENT TO WHIPPLE SUPERCHARGERS FOR CALIBRATION SERVICE ALONG WITH RECEIPT, NEW PCM'S ARE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST. TURN AROUND IS NORMALLY 7-10 DAYS.
