WHIPPLE MARINE SUPERCHARGER SYSTEM
The Whipple 8.3L Marine Supercharger System for compatible GM big block fuel-injected/TBI applications is designed for serious high-horsepower marine engine combinations that need the airflow, torque, and response of a large-displacement Whipple twin-screw supercharger package.
This system is built around a cast A356-T6 aluminum intake manifold, low-profile intercooler configuration, and W510AX Whipple twin-screw supercharger. With 8.3 liters of displacement, the W510AX package is designed for large GM big block combinations where strong low-speed torque, hard acceleration, faster planing, and increased top-end power are the goal.
The TBI/EFI system configuration supports a complete marine engine-management package with standard GM-style sensor integration, ignition support, fuel-system components, and custom MEFI4B ECM calibration support. The system also uses a cast aluminum throttle body with 10 injector ports, high-flow fuel rail, progressive linkage, adjustable TPS, and dual IAC capability.
Whipple twin-screw supercharger technology delivers instant boost response with throttle input, helping the engine build torque quickly instead of waiting for RPM. Available options allow the system to be configured around the selected marine build, including supercharger finish, belt system type, intercooler selection, motor deck height, and pulley color.
