WHIPPLE ECM CALIBRATION UPGRADE

The Whipple Mercury Racing 377 Scorpion ECM Calibration Upgrade is designed for compatible 377 Blue Scorpion engine packages. This calibration service is intended for customers who want improved performance from a properly running stock engine while retaining the existing ECM.

Whipple engineers developed this calibration to increase the engine's available power by adjusting key calibration areas including RPM limit, spark advance, and fuel curve. By optimizing the spark curve for 91 octane or better fuel, the calibration is listed to add up to 20 HP over stock while maintaining stock reliability when used on the proper application with the correct fuel and setup.

The recalibration is also designed to support improved throttle response and cleaner transoms with reduced soot when the engine and fuel system are operating properly. Whipple can also support many custom calibrations for built or highly modified engines when the complete engine combination and calibration requirements are provided.

Calibration Service Process

The stock ECM must be removed and shipped to Whipple Superchargers for recalibration service. Include a copy of the receipt, contact information, and all relevant engine, boat, fuel, ECM, and setup details with the ECM. If any changes have been made from the stock application, include those details with the shipment.

Standard turnaround time is normally 7-10 days. Custom calibration work may require additional information, testing, and revision time depending on the engine combination.
