The Whipple W175FF Gen 4 2.9L Supercharger Assembly is designed for customers upgrading an existing Gen 1, Gen 2, or Gen 3 W175AXFF 2.9L Whipple supercharger to the newer Gen 4 rotor and housing package. This assembly is supplied in black with a jackshaft configuration and is intended for compatible Ford, Dodge, and GM Whipple 2.9L applications.

Whipple's 2.9L supercharger platform has been one of the most popular head units for high-performance Cobra, GT500, Coyote, Ford truck, GM, and HEMI applications. As those combinations continued to advance, Whipple kept improving the 2.9L rotor and housing design to support stronger airflow, better efficiency, and more power potential from the same proven displacement.

The Gen 4 upgrade builds on the earlier Gen 3 2.9L platform with an updated rotor and housing package. Compared to the Gen 3 2.9L supercharger, the Gen 4 version provides approximately 4 percent more airflow and can produce around 1 to 1.5 PSI more boost at the same pulley size on properly matched combinations.

The new Whipple Crusher supercharger housing is designed to increase volumetric efficiency and support improved airflow through the supercharger assembly. For customers already running an older W175AXFF 2.9L setup, this assembly offers a straightforward way to step into the Gen 4 2.9L platform without converting to a different supercharger size or full Crusher-style system.
