Compared to the factory 2.65L roots-style supercharger, the larger 3.8L design offers 43% more displacement, allowing it to move the same air with lower power draw and lower discharge temperatures while delivering the broad, immediate torque curve Whipple systems are known for. On 93-octane fuel with a 100% stock engine and exhaust, this system is capable of producing up to 1035 horsepower with 16 psi of boost.

Airflow is supported by a billet 132mm throttle body and Whipple’s unique 145mm high flow cold air intake system with oversized air filter. Fueling, belt control, and installation hardware are all engineered to work together as a complete package, including billet idler components, motor mount brackets, supercharger belt, and the hardware needed for clean installation. The included motor mount bracket system is designed to provide the clearance needed to package the larger 3.8L system properly under the stock hood.

Cooling performance is one of the biggest reasons this system stands apart. The patented dual core, dual pass intercooler technology gives the discharged air two passes through the intercooler system, dramatically increasing cooling effectiveness versus the stock arrangement.
