WHIPPLE SUPERCHARGER SYSTEM

The Whipple Supercharger System for compatible 2002-2009 Mercury Marine 6.2MX MPI and 377 Black Scorpion applications is designed for SmartCraft ECM555 engines with a standard throttle cable. This system is not intended for DTS applications.

This package also supports compatible 377 and 383 reman small block applications when the engine, ECM555 configuration, throttle control type, and complete installation requirements are properly matched to the system.

Whipple twin-screw supercharger technology delivers instant boost response and broad torque across the RPM range. Because the Whipple twin-screw design can generate boost quickly with throttle input, the 6.2MX MPI and 377 Black Scorpion platform can deliver stronger low-speed torque, faster planing, improved acceleration, and increased top-end power when the complete setup supports it.
