WHIPPLE LOW-PROFILE CuNi MARINE INTERCOOLERS

Whipple Low-Profile CuNi Marine Intercoolers are designed for compatible supercharged marine and custom performance applications that need strong charge-air cooling without excessive height. Unlike stacked intercooler layouts that can add unwanted engine height, the Whipple low-profile cooler design places the intercooler core inside the intake manifold to increase cooling surface area while helping preserve valuable top clearance.

Whipple was one of the first to bring advanced cupronickel intercooler technology into high-performance marine supercharger applications. The Whipple Cooler design combines CuNi cupronickel water tanks and passageways with copper air fins to support both corrosion resistance and efficient heat transfer in demanding marine environments.

Cupronickel water passages are well suited for harsh marine use because they resist corrosion in brackish lake water and ocean saltwater environments better than aluminum-based cooler designs. Copper air fins help improve thermal efficiency, allowing the cooler to reduce charge-air temperatures and support more consistent power under load.
