The Whipple Supercharger System for compatible GM big block carbureted applications is designed for customers building a high-performance big block package for marine, custom, or universal supercharger applications. This system is built for strong torque, immediate throttle response, and broad power delivery from a properly matched carbureted engine combination.

Whipple twin-screw supercharger technology delivers instant boost response with throttle input, helping support stronger low-speed torque, harder acceleration, improved planing performance in marine applications, and increased top-end power when the complete engine package supports it.

The system is designed around a Whipple twin-screw compressor, blower intake manifold, available intercooler configuration, and 10-rib supercharger belt-drive setup. Available options allow the system to be configured around the intended build, including supercharger finish, belt system type, intercooler selection, motor deck height, and pulley color.

Whipple air-bypass technology helps equalize pressure during low-load operation, reducing parasitic loss during cruising compared to a continuously loaded supercharger system. This helps support better drivability and efficiency when the system is properly configured and installed.

For marine-focused applications, available Whipple intercooler configurations help support charge-air cooling in demanding operating environments. CuNi intercooler options are built for marine use where corrosion resistance, water flow, and durability are critical considerations.
