Whipple Superchargers continues to advance modular intake system design with the development of a highly versatile 671-based intake manifold for GM big block applications. Designed for automotive and marine use, this manifold provides a flexible foundation for a wide range of forced-induction combinations.

The Whipple 671 blower intake manifold is compatible with Whipple 3.3, 3.8, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, 8.3, and quad rotor superchargers. With the use of adapter plates, the manifold can also accommodate standard 671 through 1471 roots-style superchargers from manufacturers such as B and M and Weiand.

Cast from high-strength A356-T6 aluminum, the manifold is offered in both standard deck (9.8) and tall deck (10.2) configurations. Its modular three-piece design allows the use of no intercooler, a standard cupronickel intercooler, or the MOAC cupronickel intercooler core depending on power level and application requirements.

The low-profile Whipple cooler design works with both intercooler options and supports optional billet adapter plates machined from 6061-T6 aluminum. These adapters feature an 8 inch wide opening for effective airflow distribution while maintaining a compact 1.5 inch height. The 671 bolt pattern also allows adaptation for turbocharged or centrifugal supercharger systems using custom adapters.

For fuel-injected Whipple 3.3, 3.8, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, 8.3, and quad rotor applications using the standard intercooler, a 1 inch billet spacer is required to provide proper distributor clearance.
