The Gen 6x also features Whipple's proven 3x4 rotor combination, oversized Crusher™ 150mm inlet, and inverted layout that places the supercharger in the engine valley for a clean, integrated installation.

The Stage 1R package is the clear step up from Stage 1, adding Whipple-supplied 55 lb high-flow Bosch fuel injectors for greater fueling capacity while retaining the stock throttle body configuration. That combination gives customers a stronger airflow and fueling package without stepping into the Stage 2 132mm Whipple throttle body arrangement, making Stage 1R an ideal middle ground for those wanting more output while keeping the stock throttle body path.

Thermal control is a major part of the Whipple advantage. The patented dual-pass, dual-core intercooler system forces air through each intercooler core twice for outstanding cooling efficiency, while the massive heat exchanger and high-flow intercooler pump help maintain stable air charge temperatures in demanding conditions. The inverted design also allows for a massive air-to-water intercooler package, added plenum volume below the intercooler core, and improved use of the available surface area for lower pressure drop and repeatable performance.

Whipple's calibration strategy is another major differentiator. Designed specifically for the latest F-150 platform, the system is built to work with the new OTA-style PCM and Ford's advanced 10-speed transmission strategy. The included Whipple Tomahawk flash tool supports calibration loading, code reading and clearing, and wheel, tire, and axle ratio adjustments, giving customers a straightforward interface while helping retain factory drive modes such as Off Road, Tow, Eco, and Sport.
