Featuring the Whipple Mega Cooler, this kit is designed to improve thermal performance under demanding conditions while delivering a 50-state emissions legal calibration that adds up to 80 foot-pounds of torque and 60 horsepower.

The Stage 1 system couples the Whipple Mega Cooler, high-flow air system, and industry-leading performance calibration to make up to 80 foot-pounds of torque and 60 horsepower more than stock. Even better, from 2000 rpm, the system produces more torque than stock, giving more power under the curve for incredible throttle response. The calibration further enhances shift points to better utilize the increased torque, resulting in a much better overall driving experience, while also giving you the ability to change tire and axle size to help correct issues related to modifications.

The heart and soul of the Stage 1 system is the industry-leading calibration. Whipple and its Ford calibration team worked extensively using advanced tools to develop a calibration that could maximize power while remaining legal and maintaining safety. The 2021 and newer 3.5L features a new engine package that far exceeded previous stock power levels. Even so, after countless dyno and real-world testing sessions in multiple environments, the engineers were able to extract substantial gains in torque and horsepower. Each system features the Whipple MPVI3 flash tool, allowing easy uploading and downloading of the Whipple files. The MPVI3 also features the ability to read and erase trouble codes, along with live data and data logging capacity.

The Whipple Mega Cooler offers 54% greater volume and 8% more surface area. The bar-and-plate intercooler features offset fins on both the cold and hot side, allowing for increased cooling capacity while fitting within the stock packaging and significantly outperforming the stock cooler. Testing shows a 60 deg F drop in temperature on the dyno during back-to-back runs, with even greater gains in real-world applications. The colder air allows increased spark advance and more O2 to the engine, resulting in more consistent power while maintaining safety.

The Whipple high-velocity air intake system uses a CAD-driven, CFD-modeled, roto-molded plastic intake to maximize air speed while reducing inlet restrictions. The system features a velocity stack gauze-type filter with extra-wide pleats, giving the air filter the capacity to flow over 132% more air than a stock paper filter.
