The recall covers the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) calibration software supplied with Ford Performance Supercharger Upgrade Kits for 2024–2025 Ford Mustang 5.0L. Ford estimates 100% of the 1,048 units in the affected population contain the defect.

Ford and Lincoln dealers will update the PCM software using a dedicated flash tool. The remedy calibration restores the Level 2 Functional Safety monitoring functions. The repair is performed at no charge to the owner.

The dealer reflashes the PCM with the corrected calibration. There is no charge for parts or labour.
